Astronomics USA giving away Meade SWAs (almost)

Meade SWAs at a crazy price but probably only available to the US and Canada. You have to add the EP to your shopping cart before you get to see the prices but when I checked a couple the 28mm was $89.50 and the 40mm (back ordered) was $124.50

I've asked them if they deliver to the UK and if so what are the delivery charges.

Just got confirmation from Pete at Astronomics that they cannot ship Meade eyepieces outside North America

What a pity as the cost of a Meade 5000 SWA 40mm PLUS a Meade 5000 SWA 28mm would have been £136.34 at today's exchange rates. £136.34 for both!! Even with shipping and import duty that's gotta be the best deal I've seen yet.

Ah well i probably shouldn't be buying more gear at the moment as a pair of 8x42 Opticrons have just been delivered from FLO - excellent service again, thanks James et al.

Unfortunately no - I haven't any friends or relatives in the US (at least none I know well enough to impose upon ).
