Machine shop recommendation?

A long shot probably but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a Midlands based machine shop that could alter a tripod mount adapter at reasonable cost?

I would like the outside diameter of UA Unistar aluminium mount adapter base reduced by ~1cm, and the overall length reduced by the same.

These adapters typically cost $25 plus delivery from the States, so while I'm sure there are plenty of workshops quite capable of such a simple modification, it's probably not worth their while.

Still, it can't hurt to ask
