Marvelous Astrozap mask

just a quick post to say how good I think the "Astrozap focusing caps with integrated Bahtinov focusing mask" is, which I bought recently from FLO.

It makes the whole business of focusing a DSLR so much easier. I use it with my C80-ED and 300d, so I need a bright star such as Arcturus in order to see the defraction patterns clearly in the view finder. It is very easy to get it close to focus by bringing the 3 circles together then getting the 6 point star pattern correct. This final stage can be done more accurately by taking test shots and zooming in on the resulting image (or with live view if you are lucky enough to have it!).

Just thought I'd give it a mention as I'm really pleased with the performance of these masks.
