After a few years of astro imaing with my trusty WO GT71, i have decided to take up a challenge and dip back into the world of newtonians.
I recieved a Quattro 250 F4, and wow quite a size difference !!

First observations i have found while mocking up the setup on my EQ6-R, is the sub standard tube rings/dovetail.
There is a small amount of lateral movement in between the ring and the rail, I want to explore options to swap over the rings and plate to a losmandy rail as its just a more solid solution.

Has anyone got any pointers on rings and rails that are compatiable at all?

I do have a few more bits to cover, however i need to gently manage the damage to my pocket :)
