ZWO new eos T2 adapter

Hoping someone can tell me how to use the ZWO eos T2 adapter without the extension. Removing the extension leaves a large thread as in the attached pics. I’m wondering what you need to screw into this.
 

Have tested a couple of mono ccd cameras (zwo axi183mc and Starlight Xpress sxv h9). Both come to focus with the extension and a small spacer. But both need a filter wheel. Hence I need to lose the extension in the image train.

The Canon/ASI adaptor you have will accept 2" filters into the spacer but is not designed to be used with a filter wheel because the spacer forms part of the back focus distance for the ASI cameras.
