NGC 7635 (Bubble Nebula), M52, Sh2-157 and Nova V1405 CAS

A couple of clear nights recently got me out. This time with my 71 mm f/4.9 quad as I am waiting for the 17-23 mm variable extender to tune the backfocus <55 mm on the f/2.8 scope. The quad is plug and play and I chose the region around the bubble to see if I could catch the brightening nova V1405 CAS.

This is 100 x 300 s using ASI2600 MC Pro at -10C. No filters used, direct OSC image. Rich and colourful starfield, and compared to NB imaging, the nova comes out clearly in a pinkish color just left of the bubble nebula. Stacked in APP, processed in PS. No star removal or any extensive processing for now. I wonder what the f/2.8 would show for the same integration time.... I have never imaged the lobster + bubble, and so the natural colors were a nice surprise to see.
