MHaneferd
I really liked that one. can you explain a newcomer like me how you get your scope to point directly to the wall? Is there any star or something you reference? Or are you just moving the mount till you hit it? can you also elaborate about how many shots? Shutter speed and gain? Any filters? I have a similar camera and a smaller size of the scope (120 ED)

In terms of finding the target, I use NINA's framing assistant which is great. I knew I wanted to be in the N America nebula somewhere (as there is lots of lovely stuff and it's too big for me to fit in all at once in this focal length). So I entered NGC7000 in the framing assistant and it steered the scope there. Then just I adjusted position a bit until I liked what I saw.
MHaneferd
Thanks alot for the added info! I have to check that cygnus wall out myself 😊. I probably use 2 hours to find it in the mist… 😳
