WO RedCat 51 with Canon M50 and LP filters

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I am new to this hobby. So far, I have been taking images with my camera lenses (15-mm kit lens & 50mm). I got the ioptron skyguider pro and I was very pleased with the results.

I want to take the next step and purchase a small refractor. I am leaning towards the WO redcat 51, but I am not sure how I can connect it to my canon m50.

I do have the canon ef-m to ef mount adapter. If I just get the canon t ring (48mm) for the redcat, would it work?

Also, does anyone know if LP clip in filters such as the optolong l-pro are compatible with the canoon m50?

thanks in advance!

Astronomik EOS M clip-filter is excellent. They supply a variety of filters in the M range that clip-in. The CLS is very effective at removing light pollution

Regards and stay safe
