2nd trip out and some success!

Recommended Posts

So after enquiring here I went out to the striperstones in Shropshire to get the MW shot I am after. Unfortunately I had no such luck on that venture.

However on Friday in a split second decision I hopped in the car and did the 4 and a half hour run from London to Elan Valley. After being roadblocks by sheep I managed to make it at about 1:30 am and get these before the fogged rolled in :)

Attached are my 3 favourites from the trip these are all single images.  Exposure  f1.8 and vary between 5 and 20 second exposure with a variation in ISO between 1200 and 4000. My next aim is to get those georgeous colours to pop in the MW and was looking for advice there?

I was also hoping someone could help me ID the Orange dot above the cloud  centre and the bright bold object to right in the last image. I am sure they are planets but as I was zipping around trying to get the right shots I didn't get my phone out to Check.

Thank you all for the tips and tricks :) wealth of knowledge here! Unfortunately these images cost the lives of 3 poor rabbits that were hanging out in the road behind one of those pesky fog clouds. First time I've ever hit any living animal and I felt quite awful about it :(

feedback and advice/criticism is massively appreciated!
