Alan Gee telecompressor + DSLR

Hey there!

I have a C8, and for a long time I've been enjoying an Alan Gee II telecompressor.

Now I've gotten into astrophotography, and I don't know how to adjust the Gee... let me explain, and see if someone has found the same problem.

My light path is: C8, Alan Gee, Camera adaptor, DSLR.

Problem is that the Gee is not held in place properly with the camera adaptor. If you've seen the Alan gee, you know it goes inside the C8's tube, and is held in place when you screw the visual back.

In astrophotography, there's no visual back, only the camera adaptor, which happens to have a different shape and doesn't "lock" the Alan Gee in place as it should. Both the Alan Gee and the adapter are from Baader.

Has anyone encountered this? If so, how do you solve it?

cheers from Spain!
