Logitec Webcam to finderscope adaptor

Hi all

I have a skywatcher 200p with a 9x50 finder scope and I want to attach an old Logitec Quickcam 4000 webcam to use as a autoguider with PHD and a GPUSB. I've seen this is possible with Astrocasto but I wanted to use an adaptor to link the finderscope and webcam.

I see that Modern astronomy provider an webcam finderscope adaptor but when I email them to confirm if this fit I had the response:

"I only support the SPC900NC at the moment as they seem to be out there in the greatest numbers.

Unfortunately I don’t know for sure if the SPC900NC adapter will fit the Quickcam, so I can’t recommend it"

So question is has anyone tried this, do you know if the Logitec and Phillips webcams will work the same or can recommend an adaptor that will work?
