Im new. HELP!!!

I just recently purchased an Orion SpaceProbe 130ST telescope. it has been cool and very clear for the past three nights so my timing was perfect!! Upon purchasing the telescope I have done some research and have learned to start with a 25 mm lens. So, I started there looking at Andromeda. I found Andromeda with my finder scope then through my telescope. With the 25mm it simply looked the same as with naked eye. I was a little flustered so I switched to 10mm. It didn't look any different. What am I doing wrong? Is it me or my scope?
