Meade 4504 & astro photography.

Hello again.I have bought a new mirror for my telescope as i wrecked my old one (as i am a numpty) & i didnt have enough cash to get a new 6" or 8" telescope with motor mount as i wanted.

I am looking into getting a t-mount for my Nikon d5100 DSLR. But i need to know if i will be able to use it to take photos or if i will have to adjust the mirror distance as i have heard in other online posts something to do with focal length.

Has anyone got a meade 4504 astro photography setup that works even if it's just for the moon as i dont want to waste £30 on a t-mount plus adapter if it will not work.
