PEC training with PECPrep and PHD log file

Hi all

I have been looking into improving guiding with some PEC. My guiding is working really well but every now and then a star will move noticeably more than it has been, and PHD has to apply a few maximum bursts of mount movement before guiding returns to normal again. I was thinking this might be periodic error but have not timed the anomalous behaviour yet.

I have been reading up on using PECPrep with a PHD log file, my only question before I give it a go is, how long do I need to guide for before I have sufficient blog data for PECPrep to work its magic?

Reading around, it seems that 5 complete rotations of the worm gear is sufficient.
