Getting Started with Nexstar 127slt

Hi there , about to recieve a 127slt and wondering if anyone has any tips on how to take good care of it. I have a 130slt before so didnt need to worry about a dew shield so I have found some matt black plastic plant pots at near enough the same diameter. Will this do ? Would I be better with some camping roll mat ?

Also , what are peoples tips when bringing it indoors ? The 130slt would often have condensation built up on the mirror but would evaporate off ok , is this the same with the 127 ?

Finally , I am keen to do a bit of astrophotography. I have done some as part of my uni project and so know a little. Looking to get a lunar/planetary imaging camera second hand as I am a bit short of cash ! So far I have found

Is the DFK worth the extra money ? Is the Neximage also worth considering ?
