T-thread stepping rings.

can anyone tell me what size a t-thread actually is, and what other names it comes by, because at the moment, I have to search for t rings, t threads, t adaptors etc. until I find what I want.

In this case, I'm looking for a method of attaching a 52mm thread to the telescope, and thought my best bet would be by a T-52mm stepper.

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Andrew, check out this guy's setup on Flikr: http://tinyurl.com/yrjzzg

His Canon G7's Lensmate adapter is attached to a a Scopetronix Maxview 40 eyepiece using a 58mm-T adapter - sounds as though you need a 52mm one of these (plus maybe the eyepiece also).

CNC Supply Inc (http://www.cncsupplyinc.com/) can ship a 52mm-T adapter to the UK for around £15 at current exchange rates. You can find the adapter on their site under "Digital Camera Step Rings" - Part # SR52T.

Hope this helps.

Col.
