Skywatcher Quatro 10CF or 190 MN for astrophotography?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone! Ive been gazing some stars, planets and the occasionally nebula for a while now with my Omni XLT-120.

However, while visual astronomy is wonderful I really like deep sky astrophotographing, so I want to get some upgrades...

Ive been looking into buying a Skywatcher 190 Maksutov newtonian, but then I found the Quatro 10CF which seems like a faster scope with a f/4 compared to the MN that has f/5,26.

And the Quatro is carbon fibre which means that it should be lighter, which is good for astrophoto.... right?

As you may see, i'm kind of lost here.

My main focus is as said deep sky photographing.

Thanks in advance, really happy for fast answers since my birthday is coming up
