New Orion Thin OAG and SSAG combo

Decided I needed a autoguide system and jumped feet first into buying the new Orion thin OAG and their SSAG. This new OAG has both radial lateral adjustment making better use fo the prism, so I'm hoping things will work out as I've read a few tales of woe reagrding the SSAG and other OAGs. I guess the quesion is should I have got a Lodestar?
