Thanks for that. An interesting read. have an older book on GRBs but I think that even as I was reading it it was seriously dated.

GRB's are pretty hard to stay up-to-date with these days, always new information coming in. Wasn't that long ago when accepted wisdom was that we'd never know what they were!

Before you know it we'll have type 1a, type 1b... type II-p types of GRB, and the nomenclature will be a mess like it is for SN
