storage case needed but what to buy

I recently tried to order the following case from Maplin but it looks like it is discontinued.....

I need to store my scope in a secure storage box preferably metal, i can add foam myself but wondered if anyone can recommend any?

Have you had a look at something like this

I'm not sure if it's the right size, but you get an idea. The sides of this kind of bag will be well protected and they'll probably be some kind of metal plate on its base for added protection.

Other than that, one of these might do the job.

As for extra protection, dig out the original packaging or they'll easily be a local supplier of foam or bubble wrap to cater for your needs.

Anyway, I hope there's food for thought here.
