Baleineau
May be a really silly question. LoL. I have the celestron nexstar 6se, and a Phillips spc900nc webcam and a canon 500d slr. I can control the scope remotely using nexremote, although I plan to go the skyfi wireless route for Xmas. Obviously the webcam connects to the laptop. So what I'm wondering is this. Can I get something to remotely adjust the focus on the scope instead of manually turning the dial? I find it hard to look at the laptop screen whilst turning the knob. Rarely does the image turn out sharp. As you may have guessed I'm hoping to be able to sit in the car or in the house and operate the scope and webcam remotely, including focussing the scope.martin
umadog
I know this isn't the answer you're expecting, but if you want to do your AP from indoors why not just push it to the limit and use a service like this: http://www.global-rent-a-scope.com/why_remote/Otherwise, just Google "celestron nexstar 6se motor focus" and you'll find the accessory you're looking for.
