Hi,,

I am looking for a portable scope that I can carry around and gives me brilliant views... these both fit in my budget..

my concern with SCT is collimation and high focal ratio for DSO while it is attractive for planets and portability..

with XLT 150 refractor being f5 I am concerned about CA..

I will be doing some photography..

both will be used under quite dark skies...

Please help me choose the right scope!!
