Finder for Meade 2045

I'm just getting started in astronomy with a Meade 2045 and want to equip it for star hopping. I've ordered a red dot finder and am considering a right angle finder or Telrad/Rigel. Telrad looks attractive but appears too big for the 2045, the Rigel would fit but I'm leaning towards a right angle finder.

My concern is about the size and weight.

Would something like the Stellarvue 9x50 be too big for the 2045?

If so, what would you recommend for a good quality finder? Any other thoughts on the subject?
