Yashica J-3 Settings?

Ive never really used a 35mm slr before, was wondering what would be some proper settings too photograph the moon using a Yashica J-3.

Side Question, also am playing around with an Olympus IS-1, has a "star/moon" setting on it.. also a 35mm.. was wondering how the pics turn out using that? if any one here has.. lol i know, i know, im using Ancient equipment... =)
