I have a Nikon coolpix p500 n was woundering if I could attach my cam to my telescope n what i would need? I have been looking at deep sky images and think that is what I like most and would love to photo it. If my cam does not what cam would be best for like less then 300 or am I well underestimating?

I have only had my scope since Christmas but its a bit small 90mm by 1250mm skywatchers but I am hoping to get a new larger one so if any one knows of good deep sky telescopes would help a lot thanks
