Revelation 80 semi APO f6 fixngs

Hi,

I have a Revelation semi Apo 80 f6 scope which came with an attachment to put it on a camera tripod. I have managed to take this off OK, but now need to fix a vixen style dovetail bar to it. However the the length of body suitable for putting tube rings on is very short, just about 3 1/2" - 4" and too short for the dovetail bar I have. I have purchased a couple of 90mm tube rings which fit a treat, but these then do not fit onto the dovetail bar to they as they are too close together. I guess the answer is a shorter bar, but with the two rings fitted there is only a couple of inches between where the bar would fix on.

My ultimate aim is to dual mount my two scopes, so need to sort out this problems.

Any ideas?
