SE/CG5 mount question

I have the SE8 on the alt az computerized mount. I want an EQ mount but will the CG5 be sufficient or do I truly need the CGEM mount? I know that I have to rotate my scope tube 90 Deg to mount on CG5 that doesnt appear that it will affect anything. I just

cant seem to find anything that clearly states wich mount i need.
