Do you need computerised object finding (GOTO). If not, then you will be better off with Skywatcher 150p dobsonian

First Light Optics - Skywatcher Skyliner 150P Dobsonian

If you need GOTO, you will be better off with a Skywatcher Synscan Az 114p

First Light Optics - Skywatcher Skyhawk 1145P SynScan AZ GOTO

The aluminium tripod on the LCM is poor, the Synscan Az mount will be better. The Synscan Az mount is the same as Celestron's SLT mount, which is one level up from the LCM.

Do you have a pair of binocular. You should buy one to learn your way around the sky before you buy a telescope. A pair of 10x50 is a good place to start.
