Skywatcher 130P GOTO and 24mm Eyepiece Focus

Recommended Posts

I managed to get out last night and take advantage of the clear (if cold) skies with my new scope.

I was able to get views of the Moon and Jupiter with both the supplied 24 and 10mm eyepieces which were more than good enough to make standing out in the cold worthwhile but I noticed that in order to to get the 24mm eyepiece in focus I had to take the focuser all way down to it's very lowest setting.

Since the 10mm eyepiece focussed much higher up is this just a quirk of the 24mm eyepiece Skywatcher supply and won't be an issue with other wider angle lenses or is there something amiss ?

Thanks
