Astro-Photography and Filters!

Recommended Posts

I have a Meade Cassegrain 8" LS-ACF and a Canon 60D. The only filters I have ever used on my telescope are the types that screw into the base of the eyepiece. I live in a very very light polluted area, and filters are the only way I can view about 80% of the objects in the sky. I want to get into photography, but I'm not sure how I can use a filter with the camera. What type of filters, adapters, and the rest would I need to do this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated! :-)
