A couple of eyepieces please

Hello everyone, just starting out although I have my telescope a while now only one eyepiece came with it a 40 mm hilux and I am looking for couple of good eyepieces, my scope is an 8 inch cpc. I wonder if my age matters, I am 50 years of age and don't wear glasses, two or three suggestions for eyepieces would be great. Don't know if I have given enough information, please let me know.

What is your budget?

I think something like a set of 32, 21, 9mm and a good barlow will be a good combinations. It will give you 62x, 95x, 220x plus 124x and 190x when barlowed. 62 and 95x will be useful for DSO, while 190x and 220x will be useful for planets.

Or you can go for the lazy option and buy a 34mm SWA or 35 Aero ED for wide angle and a 8-24 Hyperion clickstop zoom for the rest.
