Some may say the bug has bitten a little too much, but here goes...

I have an option to buy a Celestron Astromaster 130 telescope.

I'd like to know the improvement in detail I'd be seeing compared to the Meade ETX-70. I know I'd be losing the goto features but that doesn't worry me.

Will a 5.1 inch reflector give 'overall' better results than my (nearly) 3 inch refractor?

Someone I know is interested in the ETX, and I thought I'd think about selling it whilst there is still value in it (they are regularly hitting over £120 on ebay!)
