Connecting Sky watcher to Mac

I have recently bought a serial to usb converter to try and attach my Sky watcher 127 AZ GOTO telescope to my mac book.

I have looked for drivers on ASCOM, but can't find any skywatcher drivers, or any that are mac compatible.

What do i need apart from a cable to allow my telescope to work with my laptop.

If it will only work in windows then i have got a partition, but would rather it worked on mac.

If any one could help i would really appreciate it.
