First look at jupiter using argos telescope.

Good news about the EP, divinityitself; i was wondering about the wisdom of getting a decent eyepiece for a budget 'scope and it sounds like it's a good idea.

And although JimmyJJJ's reply was aimed at DI, I've got to say that it's a massive help to me too and, I'm sure, lots of beginners at the early stages. Brilliant post, thanks.

I;ll second that heathenwoods, a great post that had plenty of interesting points, superb advise for anyone, cheers JJJ,

Wow. Seems to go against all the advice about being wary of cheap scopes. For £28 I'm guessing that must be the cheapest way to see stripes on Jupiter.

28 quid wont even get me a taxi into Glasgow! But i can see another planet and its moons? I say thank you very much and keep the change! A dynamite purchase. Even though like i said, its got its drawbacks, its a start and not nearly as bad as i had been led to believe.
