mrdiki
I am now the proud owner of 20 x 80 Celestron Binos and had a cracking view of Jupiter and 3 of the Jovian moons last night, a huge improvement on my old 10 x 50 Bressers. Very clearly due to their weight I will require a tripod. Any suggestions for suitable offers in Birmingham (UK) area?Appreciated.
Kai
Google "Horizon 8115"Very good tripod that should cope with the Binos without any problems
JamesM
The Horizon is a good tripod but you might want to consider an effective mount that the binocular attaches to. Most photographic type tripods can only tilt the binos up to around 60 degrees yet the best seeing (less atmosphere) is near overhead towards the zenith. Read here for some ideas on how to link the binos with the tripod.James
