Hello everyone,

I have an Orion80ED mounted on a Sky View PRO with Intelliscope. The mount is not motorized so do you think upgrading to a dual axis drive would make it good for AP? Or is it better to get the GOTO kit which is about 300$ more expensive?

Another thing. Astronomics.com are having a sale on the Astro-Tech 6" Ritchey-Chretien astrograph for only 299$ and I've read how good these scopes are, especially for AP. Do you think its a good idea to piggyback my Orion on this scope to have a nice beginner's AP system and what sort of accessories would I need to achieve that?
