skymax GoTo faulty mount

hi all,

well finally heard from the supplier today, after a phone call. My GoTo mount was faulty and they are sending a replacement in the next couple of days. Handset and cable are fine just the head apparently.

I am kind of relieved in an odd sort of way at least I now know for sure that it was not me doing something wrong in the set up procedure. Although I was convinced that it was the mount it was still nice to have it confirmed.

Thanks to one and all for all your advice and I hope to be observing very soon, skies permitting.
