ccd Camera software help

Hi peeps!

I have just bought a 6" Newtonian used and in great nick, it came with tripod, about 8 filters ,2 Barlow lenses,different eye pieces and a ccd camera. but alas no software for the cam does anyone know where I could get the ROM from? I'll attach a pick of the cam, it's a Pentaflex 1.25" color USB lunar & planetary camera.

I hope someone could help ,I would be truly great-full.

All USB devices have a set of identifying fields (often as a set of hex numbers):

* manufacturer id

* product id

* version

My initial thought would be if Pentaflex will not supply the software, to have a look at the chip used and see if the driver for that could be used.

Every USB device has a manufacturer & product code - this may belong to a company that you could trace down a driver for (assuming Pentaflex resell the device).
