Ì know the feeling. The last week I have doing small hings on the obsy on and off during the evenings dry spells. But I could also do with some dry days, especially since I need do to some painting of my metal bits and after that test fitting the mount and scope to see how much clearance I have left in the back wall, so I can design and construct this. The balcony roofing is soaking wet each day I have been working up there, so I have to mind my steps in order to avoid wet feet. I will put in a water barrier in the floor to prevent moisture from the balcony roofing to come up into the observatory structure.

Skoda octavia disk seems to fit my NEQ6, and works a charm!
Can you provide the details or a link on which type of Octavia barke disk you used. I'm looking for an NEQ6 adapter in The Netherlands and this looks really good.

Hi my name is Tim and I live in The Netherlands. Just started out doing deepsky photography and here are my first 5 results.
Mostly unguided 60-90 sec lightframes, total intergration about 1 hour. Stacked with equivalent darks in DSS and processed in CS3.
Images aquired on March 6 (M51), April 6 (M81/M82), April 8 (NGC4565), and April 17 (M97/M108 & M101) 2010.

I think you're absolutely right with the ventilation. This is something I'm also considering in my build.
