Tolerances?

I must be one of the lucky ones with regards to the focuser - it's super smooth.. can't fault it.

I can highly recommend using Luminos with the SynScan Pro app - it works seamlessly and unlike SkySafari on iOS it doesn't require two devices or a SkyFi device to work.

I went ahead bought this and couldn't be happier - works perfectly fine on the AZ GTI and only weighs in at 3.9kg including rings, dovetail, diagonal, lens and red-dot finder.

I have recently purchased a Skymax127 on an AZ GTI mount which is perfect for my moon and planetary viewing, but would now like to invest in another telescope for wide field viewing of most DSO such as the Double Cluster, Orion Nebula, etc. I have been looking at the Skywatcher Evostar 80ED DS-Pro OTA, but not sure if the AZ GTI would handle this well as it seems to be close to the maximum weight of 5kg once you add the diagonal and lens. Would love to get your feedback on whether you think this is a good idea or not, or if there are other alternatives I should consider. Ideally, looking to avoid purchasing another mount if at all possible. Many thanks.

Couldn't agree more - just bought one of these myself from FLO and really impressed with the quality.
