It's easy to understand that. Any options? BT? WiFi? Or simply OnStep controller <-> mount communication without extra features?

I don't want to be taken as rude, but please, should I be more interested in giving us as much detail as possible than you?

Take my pardon. I wanned to know if which one is better for my Onstep Goto Microcontroller... But anyway sorry for bothering you.

In your other thread we pointed you towards the github pages which details the hardware and firmware needed for this project

Its an evolving project and when I last looked it was Arduino based, possibly UNO and a stepper motor shield normally used in DIY CNC / 3D printers...  Basically you need to do the leg work and read through the git hub pages, join the user group (as suggested) and go from there.  IF this is not an option and you want something that is plug and go then purchase one of the retail OnStep packages listed here that suit the scope you might have.  But as you mention Ali-Express I'm guessing you want to do this as cheaply as possible rather that paying upwards of £180 for a retail kit

Yeah man I am trying to do things by what comes a little chipper. I decided to go with Fysetc E4 instead Uno/Cnc etc. I hope it will make my work a little easier.

  3. I bought WemosD1 R32 + CNC V3. But after working on it I found it too much hassling. So I've sold that. Now I want the most minimal Setup/Controller for Goto in one Board possible and simple including RTC and other features. The suggestion will be appreciated I find the part in Ali Express. Amazon is not available here so. Give me some valuable suggestions. Thanks in adv.

You have found this link ? https://onstep.groups.io/g/main/wiki/19670

It's the build directions for your board combination though it's now in the deprecated list so getting online support may be harder than using one of the more recent variants.

Yeah, I found this. But I don't wanna go with this setup anymore. So I've sold those. Gonna order Fysetc E4 so very soon. Thanks for the help anyway. Appreciate it.

    No worries, your welcome.

I've not looked into the project, but believe you can either buy a "kit" and put it all together, or buy your own parts and cobble it together.  Either way you need to have some understanding of electronics and how the Arduino IDE is used to upload the code to the device.  It's not difficult, and can often be fun and rewarding when the project you've been working on works for the first time.   The default "hello world" is to flash an LED once a second... that simple flashing LED has brought delight to millions of people since Arduino first appeared.

I see, I want to make this project anyway.

Enter "Onstep Goto" into Google and you'll find details of their Yahoo user group, and links such as this one to the Github location for the files needed.

If you want others to assist then please post up specific questions.  If you have never programmed and are new to this, then I would suggest you google "Ardunio for beginners" or similar search string to get an understanding of how things are coded.  Yes all the code has been done, but you still need to download and get used to the IDE that is used to upload the code to the ESP32Duino.

This was really helpful sir. Appreciate it. Thanks

  7. Hey folk, As I mentioned earlier my setup is Wemos D1 R32 (ESP32) + CNC v3 + A4988 Motor Driver set. I Want to build my Onstep Goto. Is there any full tutorial or guide for this common setup? I am a beginner in programming and this stuff so I have zero idea. Can you help me with support, please? Thanks in advance.

Hi folks, I have a Skywatcher EQ3-2. I have a tighter budget that's why I was planning for a GOTO update with Wemos D1 R32 ESP32 and Nema 17 motors. But I am still confused about Pulley and Belt. Can you guys help me with the dimensions of the Pulley and Belt that you used in your EQ3-2?  A pic of my mount is attached below. I appreciate any help you can provide.
