  1. Yes, something is not right! I use SIRIL to process my imagies and NINA to capture them. My first astrophotos a few months ago didn't have so many noise! They had just a bit of walking noise but hard to see... I switched to NINA from APT but the next time I will try to work with it. Also how can I do unguided dither in APT? Thank you, clear skies!
  2. Thank you everyone for responding! Well,my ISO was 1600. Also, how can I do astrophotography without darks? I hope subtacting the offset will work better. Thank you again!
  3. So, I have to use more data Dither Use dark frames Rallemikken,Elp thank you!
  4. Ratlet thank you responding again. Ok, the goto accuracy isn't as much important as the tracking accuracy,I agree with that. I may start working on a project like this one Home Made Telescope Mount - Concrete Cellar. If I improve the worm gears( I want to make better that them) and use guiding I could have all of the trcking accurcy needed. And no, I am not working on an old mount I am making a new one from skratch!
  5. Ok that was easy! I have an EQ GoTo mount(the staradventurer Gti). Maybye a good amount of slew speed would be 2 or 3 right? Thank you again clear skies!
  6. Hello everyone! Three days ago, I captured the lagoon and trifild nebula with my unmodified camera;Canon EOS 60d. I took 125 imagies 60sec each. Then I stacked them in DSS and I processed the image a bit but I was dissapointed. My image was full of noise! I think that this is walking noise(I don't use guiding yet,so I cannot dither). I also didn't add dark frames. I should also mention that walking noise is getting worse and worse through the year. In the colder nights I didn't have any issues with it but now in the really hot I have! How can I overcome this problem?
  7. Ok,Vroobel! My idea is quite simple; To make a DIY EQ mount(not harmonic). I want to use this mount for; 1.Astrometry 2.Astrophotograpy So,you see that I need much accuracy,in order to find faint celestial object. The goto accuracy is really important but I will have to use plate solving. I also need the Onstep controller to support guiding. This is a really good example of what I want
  8. I of course will use worm gears. And acording to you I souldn't use 400 steps? But this will do the tracking worse right? Thank you again Vroobel!
  9. Ok, Also a really impotant question; How can I improve the goto accuracy? Thank you again, clear skies!
  10. Thank you Vroober for responding again! I want to control my mount from NINA. I a this suggestion; To use the D1-r32 kit with the CNCv3 sheild. Could this do a good job?
  11. Ok thank you everyone! So, what stepper motors sould I buy(remember I want a payload capacity of at least 25kg) Also I will have a complex system for astrophotography that needs to be really acurate! What Onstep microcontroller sould I buy. I really need a good one! Thank you everyone again!
  12. Hellon again, thank you responding! How can I face this problem?
  13. Vroobel,I have to tell you something! You are the reason that I begun this project! I just learned so many from your videos and I think that I found the best person to advise me! Thank you providing me all the information needed. I am also designing a rotator because of you! Also what can I do to improve the tracking the tracking accuracy? Thank you and clear skies!
  14. Thank you AstroKeith! Do the Nemas 17 have backlash issues? And also because you mentiond that you are motorizing a dob what else sould I buy exept the controller and the steppers? Thank you, clear skies!
  15. Hello stargazers! I would like to make an EQ mount with OnstepX. The microcontroller that I'll be using is the CNCv3. I also want a NEMA 23 stepper motort(400steps) but others suggested me to buy the Nema 17. I want the payload capacity to be at least 20-25kg,so can you tell me what motors to use? Last but not least what else do I need? Clear skies,Manos
