Hi everyone, 

I recently took an image of the Carina nebula with a camera, lens, and a star tracker, and on one part of the image, there is a big dark irregularly shaped shadow. I believe that this is just dust on my sensor because on my other images of the nebula that was taken a month ago, there was no dark spot. PLUS on images from the internet, there is no black spot. But it looks really real because there are stars that are over it. ._. Below is a picture that is autostretched and screenshotted. 

Can someone help reassure me of what it is?

I got the 15mm and 8mm BST eyepieces. I might look at the Baader boo eyepieces when the planets are at opposition.

Sorry for late reply but I have some celestron omni eyepieces and an svbony uwa eyepiece (It says 68 degrees FOV but its more like 60).

But I a few days ago I got asked my parents to get a bst starguider 15mm and 8mm. I have an f4.7 10 inch dob.

I have decided on either the: Baader BCO 10mm or the BST starguider 8mm/12mm

Don’t know if they work well at f4.7 though.

 

I'm a bit confused as to what the baader BCO is.

Eye relief and FOV is not an issue.
