The inaugural meeting of Wakefield And District Astronomical Society at Horbury Academy, near Wakefield. This meeting is open to all who have an interest in astronomy, regardless of your level of knowledge. The society was the end result of a bunch of people from around Wakefield who came together here: http://stargazerslounge.com/topic/136363-wakefield-area/ and that decided to try and get more people involved and to try to promote astronomy in their local area.
