EQ3-2 RA/DEC Dual Drive - need a spare part!

Hi,

I have the EQ3-2 RA/Dec dual drive motors and a couple of nights ago I found that I had broken the drive fitting that connects the RA motor to turn/track the mount.

I thinks it's called a "flexible coupler".

Does anyone have an old faulty/unrepairable RA motor for an EQ3-2 with this coupler intact, or knows where I can get spares for these RA/Dec Motors?

That looks like the very thing - and in metal instead of plastic!!

Have you any experience of using it instead of the original coupler that came with the motor?

I checked the dimensions on my EQ3-2, and the RA motor, and it seems I would need a 5mm internal diameter (ID) bore (from the motor) coupled to a 6mm ID bore (from the RA shaft on the mount).

I then checked with CNC and they replied that a 6mm - 6mm coupling was the smallest they do.

I've started looking around on the internet, but can you confirm what size you got, and how precise you had to be on size?
