gemin Control Center help

Hi!

I am thinking of buying the gemini control center, but have a few questions. I am an amateur astronomer (starting with astronomy, previous experience with cameras). I am planning on writing a piece of code that helps me control my DSLR (modified with a tunable multispectral filter) mounted on a Losmandy G-8(which I am planning to buy). I wish to write an interface that helps me simultaneously control the filter, camera, mount and got-to functionality. The objective is to allow me to take multispectral images remotely from my computer (via the internet).

Would it be possible to get access to the information in the Gemini control center using my own code ? or would I need access to some Control center build environments(libraries etc.)? and if so would it be possible to get that?

If not any other alternatives and suggestions would be really appreciated.
