Seeing was a little better, but sadly transparency was bad. i could not get a good signal, so was limeted to about f15, and f20 at 1/30 secs with a poor histo and noisy frames. I made what i could out of them here.

If anyone wants to mess with this. its straight out of k3 ccd. its ax2 stack no other sharpening apart from that out of the k3 stack, and noise reduction thats it. A high pass filter which i dont have might bring out the detail but. the images are noisy be warned

I wouldn't complain too much about those. They're great pictures. I thought we would be inside the ring system soon, the way they were getting bigger and bigger!

Keep going as a good night will turn up, storm still visible but fainter, getting detail with colour always a struggle with this type of seeing.

seeing holds for a few seconds John then its off again, and this is only on red. forget green and blue. My latest red held for a little longer ( mistake on the date 10th, was the 11th ) would love a 6 min red with all 6 mins calm instead of 30 seconds. let alone the same on colour. your latest shot was razor sharp on that storm. we imaged the same region on your second shot i think
