quick, nasty M3

Hi all

Ok, so I had planned to have a stab at imaging some other galaxies tonight during my astro club's 'public observing night' in a local park... but the LP was diabolical.

Instead I decided to just see if there were any DSO's that were visible in amoungst the murk, and M3 was the first on the list. As I could clearly see it in the EP, I figured I'd have a stab.

I only had about 40mins to do this in so it's only about 22mins of data with 10 darks.

Focus wasn't perfect and my polar alignment was awful (hence the dodgy shaped stars) but hey, it's my first globular, and it looks kinda like it should :-)

Anyway, will have a stab at some other clusters soon I think, I'm happy to have got so much with such a short exposure.

Cheers all

Ben

PS:, sorry, this was imaged with the Meade 127 and the Eos 350d again.
