First satelite :).

My last observing session, I was looking in the east, and there goes a bright dot, no trail, no lights, just something going fairly fast across my field of vision, in the east. One App I have seems to suggest it might be Hubble, Ironic I think using a telescope to look at a telescope. .

Heavens Above will tell you whether HST is visible from your location, I've seen it a couple of times, it is quite thrilling to spot.

cool i was wondering what the bright dots were passing my view is there anyway to track satilites?

There used to be a better one that tracked several satelites including Chandra and HST, unfortunatley this is the best I can now find, but hey ISS is pretty cool too!

Anyone who has an iphone you can track satalites on -Starwalk app

Star Walk - 5 Stars Astronomy Guide for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

using Stellarium you click satalite hints and can fast forward time to see what passes in your area of sky,

also using the HSF (linked above) will give you sighting opportunies, have that bookmarked on your mobile if your out and about.

have had my work collegues looking up around 0530ish over the last week, and seen the ISS everyday
