Hi, Was looking for some filters and came across this. Light Pollution Reduction - Baader Neodymium Filter I know Jupiter has gone now but would it be worth getting for my scope(In my sig). Also is there any other filters I should think about getting? Is there any good filters for Saturn?

It's the best planetary filter I've used. Great on Saturn and Mars as well as Jupiter. Also great on the moon as it removes any warm tint caused by the eyepiece to give a nice neutral grey appearance and helps contrast as well. I don't use coloured filters now since getting the Baader filter.

There are other filters that will help with nebula's etc, but that can be partly dependant on the aperture of the scope.

I've used the Baader filter on my 80mm and 100mm APOs and they work really well. Aso just as good on my 6" Newt and my 14" dob. If I could only own one filter this would be it.
